Little Lumberjack First Birthday Party

Photography by Candi Noble

Super excited to be sharing with you one of the most popular birthday themed parties for boys during the winter.

Along with Winter ONEderland and  Polar Bear, Lumberjack has been a hit every single time.

What I love about this theme, is that you can easily switch from a birthday party to a baby shower or even a couple's shower.

Dessert table is one of the most popular things  my clients ask me to style, so let's get started!

All desserts were made by Marta from Sweet Carousel Cake and we should start with the cake that it is always the main focal point of any dessert table.  I love every single detail about it!

And how about these cookies and the s'mores inspired cupcakes...?  But the hedgehogs took my heart for sure!

Also pretzels sticks covered with white chocolate and drizzled with dark chocolate...  yummy edible birch wood.

Adding details to the table is what I love the most when I styled a party...  makes the party so unique!  For this table I used a tassel garland made by my friend Carmen from Carmen Navarro Designs  and I added a cute ONE banner and set it over it.

Lets take a look...

I also added a cute area where the pre packed food was set up, so that the moms could just grab a box and have the mini sandwiches, applesauce and juice box in one place and ready to feed their little ones...  How cute are the brown boxes?

I sealed them with twine and a plaid deer shape.

On the other side of the table, I styled a little rustic display with a cool vintage Igloo, some old thermos, greenery, pine cones and a "Don't Wake the Bear" sign.

I used this area to also set up the goodie bags.  I filled them up with bubbles, and a cute baby bib!

With babies that age, you don't want to give out hazardous things like little toys.

I also made some cute baskets for the party, because adding more details is totally my thing!

In these baskets I put napkins, a fork, a spoon and cute little plastic milk jar for water..  of course a straw is a must if the kiddo already knows how to use it.

Love how cute they look when paired up with the pre boxed food box!

and last but not least, how cute is this little corner of the table...  loving the tiny little boots!

And this is how all the desserts and food table looked like.

I want to make a HUGE shoutout to my friend Susan from Sugar Parties LA for making me the vinyls for the milk plastic cups and for the goodies bags!!  She is amazing!
