Unique Pink Halloween Party
Photography by: Shelby Bella Photography
Recently, while strolling through the aisles at my local Michael’s store, I came across a really gorgeous wooden Halloween sign that featured an ornate black skull frame, and the word “Welcome” written on a soft pink background. This different color combination for Halloween really stood out to me - after all, pink is far from the traditional bright orange! But I loved the idea of creating a Unique Pink Halloween Party. Of course, I bought the sign and some additional pink decorations, and set off to do just that!
I decided to focus on a pink and black color scheme, but accented by some peaches and cream colors as well. The peach color pulls in some of that traditional Halloween orange, while staying soft and pretty to keep with the overall look of the party.
How to Style a Unique Pink Halloween Party

Welcome Area
The first thing I styled was my Welcome Area, featuring the sign that inspired the whole party! Like the sign itself, I wanted the whole party to be a good mix of pretty and spooky. I set up an old cream colored chair, and draped it with sheer black fabric. Then, I placed the Welcome sign right in front of it. Next, surrounding the chair, I added plush pink and cream tasseled pillows and a variety of pink, cream, and black faux pumpkins. I snuck a spooky spider onto one pumpkin, and placed it on the chair, elevated by a stack of black plates.
Finally, I hung a black raven feather wreath on the wall - the perfect combination of spooky and chic. I added a skeleton and some soft pink ribbon to it for some extra flair.
Backdrop
The next thing I created was the backdrop for the main area of my Pink Halloween Party. The inspirational Welcome sign had also made me think of how doors are such an important part of the most common Halloween tradition, trick-or-treating. They are where we must be brave, ring the doorbell, and wait for our treats...and hopefully not any tricks! So I decided to make doors a central component of my party as well, and made my backdrop a life-sized black and white door. This makes a fun photo opportunity, particularly if you are keeping things smaller and safer this year and skipping the actual practice of going up to real doors.
Then, surrounding the door, I put a fun balloon garland from Grae and Grace Collective with pink, white, and peach balloons in a variety of sizes. Black and white striped balloons were added throughout, along with some more sheer black fabric, spiders and bats to keep things spooky.
Desserts
Next, I set up my desserts! The main attraction was an amazing cake by Sweet Carousel Cakes. It featured a pink spider on a stark black web, a variety of sweet treat decorations in the party’s color scheme, and gravestones and pumpkin decorations on top. I added some door cake toppers to the top as well. You can get them (and all the rest of the printables from this party!) by signing up for my newsletter below!
There were also mini cakes, donut towers, cupcakes, and cookies, on a variety of pretty stands, because you can never have too many desserts, right?! I used Luna lollipops and fun acrylic ghost dessert toppers, “EEK” stir sticks and spider web stir sticks from Design and Unwind to decorate all of the desserts.
I also used cute cupcake toppers that I designed myself to go with the theme. You can download them for FREE below! Subscribe now, and then keep reading to get the details on the rest of the party!
Drinks
With all of that chocolate, guests are going to need some milk! I filled cute little glass bottles with milk and strawberry milk. Not only is it delicious, but totally goes with the theme! I added cute jack-o-lantern faces to some of the bottles, and themed bottle labels to the rest. I also set out an empty bottle with straws in it, tagged with the cutest little themed straw flags. These help everyone keep track of whose bottle is whose. The bottle labels and straw flags are also part of the free printable set!
Decor
Finally, I wanted to add more spooky decor to the area, so that it was clear this pink party is a Halloween party! I used vintage bird cage and telephone props, plenty of faux pumpkins, some spooky branches, a skull, and witches cauldrons. Then I added some realistic looking ravens to tie in with the welcome area, and some giant spiders throughout! You can find many of the items I used for this party in my Amazon Store .
