Shabby Chic Easter Dessert Party

Spring is here and it’s time to start planning your Easter celebrations.   With cute little bunnies and decorated eggs, Easter is such a fun holiday. I love styling these sweet celebrations.  This Shabby Chic Easter Dessert Party idea is perfect for all your Easter Egg Hunts this year!

I like to stick to a color scheme for each party and this one was easy to pick, you really can't go wrong with pastels for Easter.  I chose different shades of blues, pinks, greens, and yellows.

I wanted this celebration to have a vintage feel so I set my party up on some beautiful shabby chic furniture I had.  The combination of the vintage furniture and lovely outdoor setting gave my party just the look I was going for!

This Easter bash is all about the desserts and we had some really delicious  choices! If you’re doing your own Easter baking, you could create your own lovely desserts, but Latin Bakery Austin created all these beautiful treats for us.

We served a carrot naked cake with a really adorable floral cake topper, mini bundt cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and mixed petit fours

It really was desserts, desserts, desserts and who wouldn’t like that?
I served the treats on cake stands of different sizes.  This adds visual interest to a table, and helps fill in the space.

I love mixing different types of trays like the floral one in my parties, it’s not so matchy-matchy but still feels cohesive.

To complete my party look, I added a cute vintage shelf and shabby chic wood background.

I added in bowls of Easter-colored candy corn, and a few Easter shaped decorations.

I placed a chair to  hold my pink lemonade then added florals throughout to complete the look I wanted.  It’s easy to just think of placing things on tables only, but if you choose something a little different-like a fantastic chair, you’ll create a unique look that makes your party stand out!

I used vintage look milk bottles instead of cups.  I like using these in my parties, because they can be dressed up to fit in with any celebration.

To create these I wrapped them in strips of decorative paper, then I added a cute wooden bunny shape, and a paper straw.

How are you celebrating this Easter?  Brunch plans with the family, Easter egg hunt, or spending the day at church?  Let me know in the comments!
