Hi there, Carolina here. (That’s Caroleena, because I’m all about leaning in.) And I think I have the absolute best job in the world.
Throwing parties is something I love to do. It comes from my roots in Mexico where we celebrate everything with a party full of friends and family. In my opinion, any life event—big or small—deserves a worthy celebration.
It all began when...
I was a full-time preschool teacher, raising four kids, and had no time to plan each and every detail of my son’s first communion, I looked for an event stylist to help me make the magic happen.
The only problem was that I couldn’t find that person. Event stylists and the whole event planning industry are focused on large events, especially weddings, and wouldn’t take my small backyard party.
That’s when I realized that I could take my favorite hobby full-time.
Through all my experience, I have found that there are so many people just like me who love to go all out with creative celebrations—but it takes a lot of time.
DETAIL-ORIENTATED
I love the process of thinking through every detail of event design, making sure each decision has an explicit “why” behind it. It’s only with this level of attention that the final look feels polished and immersive. Simple decorations like streamers and balloons just scratch the surface. I prefer partnerships with local businesses, Etsy sellers, and good ‘ol DIY to get the most fitting and unique décor.
UNIQUE DESIGNS
And then there’s setup. You can do as much planning as possible, but if you don’t make the design work in the space, it falls flat. I’m obsessed with arranging spaces so much that I even order and style grocery store displays while I’m shopping for dinner.
UNMATCHED PASSION
I’m an intensely family-oriented person. I’m married and a mom of two boys and two girls, which means that between birthdays, holidays, graduations, and the list goes on...I throw a lot of parties just for my family. When I throw a party for a client, I match the same passion I put into my children’s parties to your event. You and your loved ones deserve something truly special too.

I am so grateful to have a team of amazing ladies helping me with every event I put on. Whether that’s party planning, ordering props, designing a set or taking client calls, MINT wouldn’t function without the help of these wonderful humans.
I am super excited that I get to have these amazing ladies as my support system and use them to help to bring your ideas to life. Look out for them as you might get to talk to them or meet them at some point during our planning process.

Isabella here! When I’m not helping my mom out with the design of the event, you’ll most likely see me taking pictures of your event! I’m mom’s photographer and I help to capture your event beautifully, so you can cherish the memories for life.
