5 Halloween Party Styles from MINT Event Design
You all know I love changing things up with my party themes - I don’t like to do the same thing twice! If you’re like me and need some inspiration this Halloween, you’re in luck. I’ve gathered five of my past Halloween Party styles, all in one place for you! Read on to see how I’ve styled Halloween decor in Classic, Unique, Feminine, Cute, and Gothic styles. And make sure you get to the end, because I’m giving you a BONUS style you won’t want to miss!
1. Classic
First, it’s a classic look. I didn’t go super traditional with an orange and black color scheme, instead choosing a more elevated gold and black palette, but I added traditional pumpkins, bats, and a black cat to drive the theme home. Get details on this gold and black Halloween bar cart here.
2. Unique
When you want to change things up a bit more drastically, go with a unique color scheme like my Pink Halloween Party. I still used muted orange and black throughout, but made pink my overarching color. Modern black and white stripes added dimension and a bit of a whimsical feel. Get details for the Unique Pink Halloween Party here.
3. Feminine
Celebrating Halloween with your “witches”? You need a fun and feminine theme. I used soft teal and lots of ribbon to create a sophisticated witch-themed party with a real feminine feel. See how I set up this Witch-themed Dessert table here.
4. Cute
If you’re throwing a party for little ones, cute is the way to go. This not-so-scary style is traditionally Halloween in color scheme and decor, but perfect for younger ages with tons of sweet details. See them all here.
5. Gothic
Gothic can be gorgeous! I loved setting up this “Death to my Twenties” 30th Birthday Party - and this dark theme is perfect for an elegant Halloween party. Pretty details like fringe, feathers, and florals added a soft touch to the dark and deadly style. Find all the information on it here.
Bonus: Festive Day of the Dead
And now for the bonus style! I know, this isn’t *technically* a Halloween theme, but the Mexican holiday of Dia de los Muertos (or Day of the Dead) is just a couple of days after Halloween, and is one of my favorites. Rather than focusing on the scary or disturbing parts of death, it’s a celebration and honoring of those who have passed on. The celebration is clear in the traditional brightly colored and festive decor used in these parties! Get information on my Day of the Dead Dessert Table here.
I hope you’ve been inspired by these Halloween Party styles! Which one is your favorite? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
