We are gearing up for Super Bowl Sunday, a day that celebrates not only football, but fabulous
entertainment (who is excited to see #JT again?), conversation-starting TV ads, and most
importantly, an opportunity to get together with friends and family over a delicious and
comforting game day spread!

At Black Twine, we put together a Game Day Viewing Party blueprint with festive paper fans
and green turf to set the stage and get everyone in the mood for football. The highlight of the
party blueprint is our easy and delicious recipes: salad skewers, totchos, and reuben sliders.
You can’t go wrong with these easy recipes, which can be prepared with store-bought items.

First up is our delicious salad skewers. Take salad items like grape tomatoes, iceberg lettuce,
cucumbers, onion, and cheese, and put them on a skewer, making sure the beginning and end
pieces are tomatoes. Serve with ranch dressing on the side for a hit with vegetarians and
carnivores alike. Feel free to get creative with your favorite salad items, such as olives, peppers,
and artichoke hearts.

And now for one of our FAVORITES - Totchos, which are like nachos but with tater tots. No one
will be able to resist these! To save time, pick up prepared chili, guacamole, and pico de gallo
from the grocery store along with frozen tater tots, gouda cheese, and green onion. Before your
guests arrive, heat up the tater tots and layer the delicious toppings on top!

And for our final fan favorite, reuben sliders. This is a classic dish that will remind football fans of
going to the stadium for games or Sunday afternoons at grandma’s house watching the game.
The ingredients - turkey pastrami, brioche sliders, sauerkraut, fontina cheese, and cornichons -
are all in the deli section of the grocery store. Top each slider with a cute football pick and game
day is ready to go!
