Top O' The Mornin': A St. Patrick's Day Breakfast Bash

Are you excited to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? I don’t know about you, but I was super relieved to discover that St. Paddy’s Day would be falling a Sunday this year, maybe you were just as relieved as me. As Moms who love celebrating life’s little moments, it’s always nice when a holiday lands on a weekend, because it means we have more time to plan, execute, and enjoy the day with our kiddos.
A St. Patrick’s Day Sunday morning celebration calls for a Breakfast Bash, and pancakes are the perfect food for our breakfast, adding a little bit of rainbow candy put them over the top! Take a look on how easy you can re create this table!
I served my pancakes on a cake stand, then added shamrock shaped cupcake toppers and a fun mini flag that says “Happy St. Patrick’s Day”!
Of course we had to add in some treats too! I served St. Patrick’s Day themed sugar cookies on a tray with some more rainbow candy.
I also added in some cupcakes wrapped in green and golden liners from my friend Julia, and some Oreo cookies-with green cream! Aren’t those cookies perfect for St. Paddy’s Day?
You can’t go wrong with Green and Gold as a color scheme for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration, so I used green and gold tableware throughout this party including golden cutlery.
When I started planning for this lucky little party, I hit up every mom’s favorite place-- the Target Dollar Spot! They always have the cutest stuff for all of life’s celebrations.
While shopping at my local Target I found some really adorable St. Patrick’s Day socks and I was so inspired. I came up with a quick and easy DIY that you can recreate at home with your kids.
I used scissors to trim the foot part off of the socks, so I would have just the tall part (that would go up the leg), then I added it to a glass milk jar as a wrapper.
It was so easy and it really gives the glass milk jars a whole new look!
The other milk jars were given a rainbow bowtie wrapper, these were actually hairbows (also from the the Target Dollar Spot)! I simply removed the clip part and used hot glue to attach to my milk bottles.
Remember, you can always repurpose things in interesting ways to fit your party decor.
We served Mint milkshakes in the milk jars and added gold striped paper straws from my friend Julia from Streamers Party Supplies . That’s where I also got the cute shamrock and horseshoe cupcake toppers.
Julia also made the gorgeous golden banner in my background. She always does a great job for me!
What I want to say most to you today is that you can make any celebration fun. You don’t have to plan an elaborate celebration for every single holiday, but add in a little bit of fun a few treats and your kids will love it!
Tell me how you’re going to make this St. Patrick’s Day weekend special? I’d love to hear about all your celebrations!

Unicorns are everywhere these days, and I don’t think they’re going anywhere any time soon. I love this theme for a girl...
