How to DIY a Bohemian Themed Party with a Cricut
This post is sponsored by Cricut. I only work with brands I truly love and always share my honest opinion about the products I use.
Today I’m super excited to show you this Bohemian inspired Engagement Party that I styled in collaboration with Cricut.
The mix of colors and textures are so much fun and they are perfect to enjoy outdoors. Take a look and see how I did, I am sure you can recreate the theme for any life celebration.
When I was asked by this fabulous company to style an engagement party using Cricut Explore Air 2, endless possibilities started swirling around in my head. This machine is perfect for adding unique details that make every single event a one-of-a-kind.
Being a Bohemian inspired theme, colors played a very important role. I absolutely love jewel tones, so I thought it was a perfect match!
Let’s get this party started!
Having a welcome table to greet your guests is a great idea because it really sets the tone for the party and gets the guests excited to see what is coming next.

For the welcome sign, I decided to use Cricut’s Gold Glittered Vinyl to cut out a beautiful love phrase and the couple’s names and stick it on a white piece of wood. I also added some colorful flowers along with some hanging pom-poms to add more color.
Designing my welcome sign was so easy using my Cricut Design Space. I need to confess that I am a new user of Cricut and I must tell you that it was so easy to use and with the full gallery of videos they have, you can do any project.
The guest tables were so much fun to design. I really wanted to give them the feeling of a relaxed and romantic dinner, so I thought about using coffee tables and cushions instead of the typical table and chair option.
Being dinner time and around sunset, I went ahead and created a centerpiece with various kinds of colored bottles, candles and Orchids.
Place settings can be so fun too, and you can easily add the theme to it as well. I used gold utensils, colorful chargers, and patterned paper along with some fancy plates.
Using my Cricut Explore Air 2, I designed a very cute and colorful menu for each guest. I used the beautiful Cricut Jewels Sampler paper (the colors went so well together!), some tassels and colorful gems to add the perfect bling!
If you know me, you should know I love adding details to cups, and this event was not going to be an exception! I got some nice emerald green cups, but I thought it would be nice to add some gypsy-like pattern to it. Using my Cricut Design Space, I was able to find two cutting shapes that I loved which I then cut out on Cricut’s Gold Adhesive Foil. I think the shapes were cut out beautifully!
For my Bride to be I made this beautiful flower crown to make her feel even more special!
Of course, the dessert table should not be skipped! I decided to go with more of a plain and elegant look for this table since we had so much going on at the guests’ table. This way we had a well-balanced look throughout the party.
Our couple loves chocolate cake so Michelle’s Patisserie created this gorgeous cake for them. I was blown away by how perfect it looked with the party style.
