A Living Coral New Year’s Eve Bash

Can you believe we’re here at the end of 2018? It’s been a great year for Mint Event Design and you’re the ones to thank, my readers and my clients have made this one of the best years ever!
To celebrate the beginning of 2019, I put together this New Year’s Eve party idea. Last year, instead of using the traditional New Year’s colors of Gold and Black, I started a new tradition of using the Pantone Color of the Year as inspiration for my New Year’s Bash! Pantone announced just a few days ago that the Color of the Year for 2019 would be ‘Living Coral’, so of course I wanted to incorporate this fun color into my celebration this year!
I thought it would be fun to collaborate with some of my party industry besties on this unique twist on a New Year’s Eve party, so when Pantone announced in early December that Living Coral would be the trendy color for 2019, I got in touch with them and we all worked hard and fast together to create all the special touches in this fun party.
Because I wanted Living Coral to be the star of this show, I paired it with shades of white, gray, and silver.
Serving Living Coral colored punch in Champagne flutes brought in color and elegance.
I used vanilla frosted cupcakes and cakes then I added these fun toppers from Sugar Parties LA. I love the glittery look of the cake topper! Perfect for New Year’s!
I also served some cute New Year’s themed cookies, I paired them with elegant paper ware from Sprinkles & Confetti.
I kept my backdrop a blank canvas by using gray drapes, then added three banners from Half Pint Design. “Cheers to New Years”- What could be better?
I love the addition of the coral and star shaped balloons also from Sprinkles & Confetti, they gave my backdrop a little bit more fun!
To add in some more color to my party table, I used confetti from Festive Fetti. And since we are going to be celebrating New Year’s I thought these festive bottle toppers from Giggle Home Furnishings would be perfect and they bonus as party favors. I then added some fun beads in coral and silver to tie everything together.
I hope my Living Coral themed New Years Party has inspired you to say “Hello 2019” in style! Don’t forget to subscribe to the MINT Event Design Newsletter to stay in the loop on all new party inspiration AND gain access to the entire FREE Printable Library!
